That's a shame, Never had a problem buying anything from the members on here, Pay pal or bank payment so you have a receipt, Wouldn't dream of sending cash in the post nowadays if that's what you did, Suppose you didn't keep a copy of his address either, He wont have been able to log on again either unless he re-registers like most of us have done, Pity you cant recall his user name and a pity the site went down or it would still be here, Good luck in finding out, I Remember the thread but not enough to see who was selling it. Lets hope another member can help. Col.

Sorry to hear of your woes...I too was screwed by a fellow member when I first joined so know the not very nice feeling associated with it.

If you are still wanting a reg tester I think I have a spare in the shed which came as part of a job lot....if I can find it it's yours for a £5.00 donation to the gun build. It fits the mfr reg, I am not sure if it's a standard size....can send pics to be sure etc. I'll go looking if you want it (think I know where it could be)

Thanks
Tim B

He is being a bit daft pulling that stunt knowing that other members know who and where he is.
That said, I had the opposite when someone sent me money for an item and didnt put there address with it. I sent email, after email, and got no reply for about 6 weeks. Turned out he had been admitted to hospital.
