wiggly71 - BEWARE OF THIS R7OC MEMBER

#1 Post by Popgun » Tue Sep 04, 2018 1:37 pm

I bought a .20 barrel, probes & mod from wiggly71
Nothing in the listing stated condition of the items or barrel length, I wrongly assumed this was the std 16”, therefore didn’t see any need to ask.
How wrong I was.
When it arrived the barrel has been cut to 13 .5”, & bluing not that brilliant either also the barrel has a shallow “dip” when it has I assume been reduced in o/a dia.
I paid a good price for a rare .20 barrel ect & to say I’m disappointed is an understatement.
I contacted wiggly71, explained the issue & agreed perhaps I should have asked questions. BUT this is the R7OC & we are both members.

He pre 2011& the crash , so one would expect some honour to come into play.

All I got was “tough” not my problem, you should have asked, No refund, i even offered to return the items @ my cost.

Now I am not desperate for the money, it’s the principle, it’s the R7OC & we all trust each other “to do the right thing”, don’t we.

I feel that i have "been had over" & to make matters worse,by a fellow member.

If ever wiggly71 offers items again please, please ASK before agreeing to buy, even if it means you miss a deal. A missed deal will be best outcome

The Mods here have been very supportive & I thank them for that

So shocking to hear about this sale Pops. :(
If I sold something and the buyer wasn't 100% happy. I be willing to have whatever sent back and give a refund, including the cost of sending whatever back.

Send him a msg telling him you found him, keep putting questions on what he's selling he won't like it.
