Airtech rifles

#1 Post by bucketboy » Mon Oct 08, 2018 5:20 pm

I don’t like to moan but I purchased some carbon tube from him (or should I say his wife) 3 weeks ago, still not arrived, he claims it’s “lost in transit”, he is not sending out a replacement, no refund and now not replying to email.

I know I should be able to claim the money back through PayPal but that’s hardly to point.

P1$$ poor customer service. :(

I have bought several lengths of carbon in the past...no more!

He used to be a member on here but he fell out with a few people, mostly over his superior knowledge and engineering. He was banned if I recall. Dr Bob also had a problem with him copying parts without asking nicely, well, without asking at all to be honest.
His real name is Carl Garbert if you want to look his phone number up.

My advice is to buy your carbon tube and adhesive from
http://www.easycomposites.co.uk/#!/
Their Voodo Glue is fantastic and their product range and service are second to none.

Use their carbon fibre cloth and make your own Kev. Just forget to polish it. All you need is a steel rod die and some release wax, after all, you're not busy.

It does not take a genius to work out who is lying Pete ! The bloke is on another planet as far as I am concerned . And it seems to me that his wife sells on his behalf on ebay ! But yet again he denies this when I asked him lol .

He sent me a screenshot of a conversation he had between the courier company and himself. It clearly has his name on it and a reference to “ his customer” If what he is saying on bbs is true, that can’t be me then :?

Come on Pete, it's all his wife's dealings using his good name. He's so scared of her he allows her to destroy his business.

When i was looking for someone to tune my bsa r10 there were quite a few negative comments about him. His tone on the bbs is ridiculous to be honest.

A simple email saying” sorry I am away at the moment, I will deal with this on my return” would have sorted this.

Currently he is angry but I am the one still out of pocket!

Strange world :em2100:
